    What is EFT?


EFT involves a simple process of tapping on stress-relief points, actually acupuncture
points, on the body as you talk about your issue. You do the tapping yourself and you
learn to 'tap away' the negative emotional feelings. You may be aware that certain
situations tend to upset you. It's as if we have 'emotional wiring' programmed into us
from prior experiences. EFT helps us "rewire" the emotional patterns within so that
we are no longer triggered in painful ways. It is literally 'emotional freedom' to feel
different, lighter, less burdened by the past, less susceptible to reacting with painful
emotion.

The cause of ALL negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.
When a person experiences emotional pain, often the pain is manifested somewhere
in their body. It is important to release the original pain so that good energy can flow
freely throughout the body to allow healing. This can be achieved through learning the
EFT procedure.

You don’t have to believe in this method for it to work! Don’t assume that EFT couldn’t
help you. It can be tried on anything that is bothering, worrying, or stressing you …
such as self-image issues, over-weight, cravings (food or cigarettes), anxiety, stress,
insomnia, fears, lack of self-confidence, health issues - headaches, allergies, PMS,
fatigue, joint pain, etc. Consider EFT also for your children - anger management and
obesity problems.

EFT is easy-to-learn, painless, drug-free and self-administered. This four-step
procedure can be learned in a one hour session, allowing for strict confidentiality and
privacy. Once learned, the procedure can be applied anytime and anywhere to
relieve various emotional or physical issues. Phone sessions can be used instead of
an office session.

EFT is a meridian-based energy therapy developed by Gary Craig from the landmark
discoveries of Dr. Roger Callahan. It is a simple technique that often provides rapid
relief from physical-emotional issues (e.g. Trauma, PTSD, Phobias, Grief, Anger,
Guilt, Anxiety, Addictive Cravings, Nightmares, Abandonment, Fear of Public
Speaking, Fear of Flying, Love Pain, Depression, Pain, Headaches and much more).

are NOT healing their clients. The healing is done though us if our clients are open to
receive it. The clients are actually healing themselves. Witnessing and facilitating this
process is humbling as well as gratifying.

If your life is overly stressful and, more importantly, you don’t take steps to help relieve
the burden that stress places on your body, you will inevitably get sick. If you are
already sick it will be that much more difficult to recover if your stress levels are not
dealt with properly. To be truly healthy we all must find a way to diminish the effects
that the daily stresses we experience have on our minds and bodies. We all must
choose something.
